Rick and I just watched the new PT Anderson movie and highly enjoyed it. Then hung around for the Q&A with him and Daniel Day Lewis. No big deal.

I'm going home for the holidays this weekend. Yippie Kai Yai Yay MF'r!

I've been listening to a lot of Animal Collective and Vampire Weekend lately. Also really into old 1930's jazz. The end of the shining type stuff.

We've been recording some stuff lately.

last night during practice me and rick were jamming and I busted out no other one from the album pinkerton.
then we started playing all the songs in sequence. we realized we know that whole album cover to cover.
we discussed maybe finding a night and covering the whole album and that's it, no mt songs.
I think it would be fun.

Pinkberry Jingle Saga

For those of you who aren't familiar with Pinkberry, let me clue you in.

Not to long ago I was out to lunch with my friends Darren and Steve.
After lunch they took me to Pinkberry and my life hasn't been the same since.
Pinkberry is in a nutshell "Frozen Yogurt." There is only one flavor (2 if you count that green tea shit) and the toppings range from fresh fruit to captain crunch. Here is the kicker: It's good for you!

Anyway.

I usually make it a point to get Pinkberry once every day or so. It's sort of how someone needs their starbucks once a day.
I am a passionate supporter of Pinkberry both financially and emotionally.

A couple weeks ago I decided I was going to write a Jingle for them. I hadn't thought about it for a few days until 2 seconds ago my roommate went to the Pinkberry site. Much to my shock and disgust, they already had a jingle!

I am not an egotistical man but I could destroy this sorry excuse of a jingle.

Cannibalism

I just got home from a brisk jog. 2 miles. I'm still kind of sick but it felt good to get some exercise.

I'm going to cook some tofu, clean my room and watch Arcade Fire on snl.

I also need to set up my pro tools. It's time to start recording some new songs I've been working on. One song I'm pretty excited about is called "Witch Doctor" the other one is called "Eureka!"

Tonight I was out to dinner with Taylor and who should walk in the door but Will Arnet and Amy Poehler. Anyone who knows me, knows one of my favorite shows of all time is Arrested Development. My favorite character on that show is Gob. Me and Taylor looked at each other and gave the "Holy shit! Gob Bluth just walked in" look. After dinner I said hello and shook his hand. He couldn't have been nicer. What a bad ass.
